Signature DEI Events

Installation & Diversity Awards Event

Held in late January, the leaders of the bar come together with the leaders from the bench for an update on the courts, installation of CCCBA officers, and recognition of the winners of the Diversity Checklist Awards. Watch the Diversity Award winners video.

Lunar New Year

This event celebrates the Asian culture and is a chance to raise funds that support diversity in the legal profession. It is mostly social with members of the bench and the bar coming together in mid-February.

Racial Reconciliation Forum

The Racial Reconciliation Forum continues a vitally important discussion on racial inclusion in the Contra Costa County legal community.  Judges, district attorneys, lawyers, law students and other legal professionals address current events and ways to improve opportunity and inclusion in our legal community. Watch the video from our last in-person event here.

Sponsorship Bundle!

As a sponsor of the DEI bundle your name and logo will be included in event materials and on the website. Sponsors will also be acknowledged and thanked in the Contra Costa Lawyer magazine. See the 2022 DEI Bundle Sponsorship flyer for details and contact Theresa Hurley to bundle at least six events per year for one price.
