Lawyers in the Library
Are you representing yourself in court, and do not have a lawyer? Do you need some general legal advice to make sure you put your best foot forward in court?
If you are representing yourself in court, you are referred to as a pro per litigant.
The Contra Costa County Law Library is proud to offer a free program to assist people like you who need general legal guidance and advice from a lawyer.
The lawyers in this program have generously volunteered their time to help you, and you will have the opportunity of meeting with a lawyer for twenty (20) minutes.
However, these attorneys should not be considered as personal lawyers. You will be required to sign a waiver before speaking to an attorney that states that no attorney-client relationship is being created with this free service. The lawyers are there to provide general guidance and advice only.
No appointment is necessary.
