Now that your online request has been submitted, one of our LRIS representatives will contact you by phone or email between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm on the next business day. If we determine that a lawyer may be able to assist with your particular legal problem, we’ll charge a $35 administrative fee to refer you to one attorney.
At that time, when applicable, you may arrange to pay the administrative fee by credit or debit card, or you may mail a check or money order. Please note that appointments cannot be scheduled until the $35 fee has been paid. This fee can be paid over the phone or by sending a check payable to LRIS to the following address:
2300 Clayton Road, Suite 520
Concord, CA 94520
Get the meeting details
Once your payment has been received, we’ll call you with the date and time of your 30-minute consultation, and the name, address and phone number of your lawyer.
How much will it cost?
There are no pro bono attorneys in the LRIS. These attorneys are in private practice and set their own fees. To avoid surprises later on, you should discuss the estimated cost of resolving your issue at your first consultation.
Prepare for your consultation
Before your meeting, read our Prepare for Your Consultation article, which features a series of valuable tips. The more prepared you are, the more productive your consultation will be.
Consider next steps
If more time is needed to resolve your case, your attorney will outline a series of next steps along with the related legal fees.
