Now that your online request has been submitted, one of our LRIS representatives will contact you by phone or email between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm on the next business day. If we determine that a lawyer may be able to assist with your particular legal problem, we’ll charge a $45 administrative fee to refer you to one attorney.

At that time, when applicable, you may arrange to pay the administrative fee by credit or debit card, or you may mail a check or money order. Please note that appointments cannot be scheduled until the $45 fee has been paid.  This fee can be paid over the phone or by sending a check payable to LRIS to the following address:

Once your payment has been received, we’ll call you with the date and time of your 30-minute consultation, and the name, address and phone number of your lawyer.

There are no pro bono attorneys in the LRIS. These attorneys are in private practice and set their own fees. To avoid surprises later on, you should discuss the estimated cost of resolving your issue at your first consultation.
