Workshop & Clinic General Information

The clinics and workshops are sponsored by many different organizations and are held at various locations throughout Contra Costa County. For complete information, please refer to each sponsor's website. We have provided these links as a service to the community.

  • Clinics and workshops sponsored by the Contra Costa County Bar Association are are offered on a first come first served basis.
  • The clinics or workshops are not appointments with a set time.
  • Space is limited at most clinics so please be sure to arrive early.
  • You may be required to sign a waiver, releasing the volunteers, the location, the Contra Costa County Bar Association, and any legal workshop co-sponsors from any liability.
  • Do not bring children, as there is no childcare available.
  • Make sure to bring all necessary documents and come prepared with all your questions.
  • Not all workshops or clinics will have Spanish speaking attorneys. Please feel free to bring a translator.
  • PLEASE NOTE: The attorneys present cannot represent you. Information that you provide the attorney present will be held strictly confidential. The attorney will not consult with you outside this program and will not become your attorney regarding any specific matter you may discuss with the attorney. Nothing that is said or done during this program creates an attorney-client relationship. If it is determined that you need legal counsel, you will be referred to the Contra Costa County Bar Association's Lawyer Referral and Information Service, a California State Bar certified lawyer referral program.
