HOW TO ESTABLISH A CONSERVATORSHIP
(OF THE PERSON - LIMITED AND GENERAL)
This workshop is for self-represented litigants seeking to establish a conservatorship of the person in Contra Costa County.
This workshop is generally held on the FIRST MONDAY of each month in the Contra Costa County Public Law Library in Martinez - 1020 Ward Street, 1st Floor, Martinez, CA from 1:30pm- 3:00pm.
PLEASE NOTE: The attorneys present cannot represent you. Information that you provide the attorney present will be held strictly confidential. The attorney will not consult with you outside this program and will not become your attorney regarding any specific matter you may discuss with the attorney. Nothing that is said or done during this program creates an attorney-client relationship. If it is determined that you need legal counsel, you will be referred to the Contra Costa County Bar Association's Lawyer Referral and Information Service, a California State Bar certified lawyer referral program.
HOW TO BE A CONSERVATOR
(CONSERVATORSHIP OF THE ESTATE AND CONSERVATORSHIP OF THE PERSON)
This is a one-day workshop covering how to be a Conservator of an Estate or of a Person. Completion of this workshop is now required by the Court for persons appointed as conservators, except for professional fiduciaries (Local Court Rule 816). It is generally held once a month.
