Do You Support a Child or Parent?
If you have any of the following circumstances, we will definitely take them into consideration when we review your qualifications.
- Do you support children who are 18-years old, or younger, living with you at least 70% of the time?
- Do you have parents whom you support, who are living with you, and who are not receiving an income themselves?
- Are you also supporting a wife or husband who lives with you and does not receive an income?
- Are you paying child support? (If you are receiving child support, this is not considered)
If you answered “yes” to any of the above, you may be able to subtract these amounts from the income levels described in “Income Guidelines to Qualify.”
This would mean that your income levels could be lower and what you pay the lawyer could be lower, too.
