Fee Mediation/Arbitration - Are you having a fee dispute with your attorney?
Arbitration of a fee dispute under Business and Professions Code § 6200-206 is voluntary for a client, unless the parties agreed in writing to submit their fee dispute to arbitration, and mandatory for an attorney if commenced by a client. 

Please note, our  Fee Arbitration Program has jurisdiction over a fee dispute if a least one of the attorneys involved in the dispute has an office in Contra Costa County or maintained an office in Contra Costa County at the times the services were rendered, or the majority of the legal services were provided in Contra Costa County, subject to any other disqualifying criteria as set forth in the local rules of procedure.

Client Relations Program -  Do you have a complaint about your attorney?
The Client Relations Program serves to resolve complaints such as communication problems, money disputes not involving fees, attorneys not performing services for which they were hired, and failure to turn over files or records upon request. 

Please note, our Client Relations Program can act only if the attorney involved practices law in Contra Costa County.
