Food from the Bar is a competitive drive that leads to many creative fundraising efforts on the part of participating law firms. In the past, attorneys have auctioned or raffled goods and services, participated in walk-a-thons and some have even held head-shaving and cream-puff eating contests. To foster competition among participating law firms, the CCCBA declares winners in five categories based on the highest per capita contribution. 2010 winners included Archer Norris; Morgan Miller Blair; Bramson, Plutznik, Mahler & Birkhauser; the Law Offices of Suzanne Boucher and Lyon & Quintero.

The Contra Costa County Bar Association (CCCBA) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to offering support in matters of the law, the legal community and the judicial system. Trusted since 1934, the CCCBA serves thousands of legal professionals and members of the community each year.
